Air-pollutant mass concentration changes during COVID-19 pandemic in Shanghai, China

Summary: The study investigated the changes in air pollutant mass concentrations during the lockdown in Shanghai due to the coronavirus outbreak. Results showed a decrease in PM2.5 and NO2 concentrations during the 2019 and 2020 Spring Festival holidays and lockdown periods, while there was an increase in ozone concentration.
