Comparison of the validity and reliability of local positioning systems against other tracking technologies in team sport: A systematic review

Jose Pino-Ortega et al.

Summary: This study systematically reviewed the validity and reliability of LPS compared to other EPTS in team sports, finding that LPS is generally more accurate in load monitoring than VID or GPS. However, caution should be taken when analyzing load indicators at high speeds or different trajectories, as validity and reliability depend on the EPTS itself.
