Has globalization shrunk manufacturing labor share in transition economies?

Summary: The study finds that globalization forces have a significant impact on labor share in low-skill industries in transition economies, while workers' share in high-skill industries remain largely unaffected. Furthermore, the negative effect is most severe for low-skilled workers in the early transition phase and diminishes as countries develop further.
