Psychosocial Characteristics by Weight Loss and Engagement in a Digital Intervention Supporting Self-Management of Weight

Ellen S. Mitchell et al.

Summary: This study examined the impact of psychosocial characteristics on weight loss outcomes in a self-managed digital program. The findings suggest that anxiety plays a key role in weight loss, while flourishing can predict the weight loss outcome group. The study highlights the importance of considering psychosocial factors in creating effective interventions, particularly in underexplored digital weight loss programs.
