Exercise-related coping beliefs predict physical activity levels in response to naturally occurring stress: A daily diary study of college students

The results showed that vigorous physical activity was positively associated with resilience and the perseverance of effort grit domain, while it was negatively associated with the consistency of interest grit domain. Additionally, increased volumes of vigorous physical activity were found to significantly improve grit and resilience scores.
