The draft genome sequence of the bacterial species Rhodococcus rhodochrous strain G38GP, isolated from the gut of the cockroach Gromphadorhina portentosa, is reported in this study. The genome consists of 76 contigs, with a total length of 6,256,198 bp and a GC content of 67.82%. This information can be valuable for future research in biocatalysis and bioremediation.
Rhodococcus rhodochrous is a bacterial species with applications in biocatalysis and bioremediation. Here, we report the draft genome sequence of strain G38GP, isolated from the gut of the cockroach Gromphadorhina portentosa. The genome consists of 76 contigs, with a total length of 6,256,198 bp and a GC content of 67.82%.
