Summary: Raphia hookeri, also known as 'Raffia Palm', is an underutilized plant native to Africa with diverse medicinal and industrial applications. Despite its therapeutic and economic benefits, there is a lack of comprehensive data on its phytochemical characterization and pharmacokinetics. Adopting modern strategies such as molecular dynamics and -omics may provide more evidence-based data supporting the safety and efficacy of R. hookeri for therapeutic purposes.
