Summary: This study aims to investigate the impact of perceived pregnancy discrimination in the workplace on the health outcomes of mothers and babies, mediated by maternal stress. Findings indicate that perceived pregnancy discrimination indirectly leads to higher postpartum depressive symptoms for mothers, as well as lower birth weights, gestational ages, and increased number of doctor's visits for babies, through maternal stress.
