The Quality of Carer-Patient Relationship Scale: Adaptation and Validation into Portuguese

Summary: This study translated and adapted the QCPR scale into Portuguese, analyzing its psychometric properties and correlation with sociodemographic and clinical variables. The scale showed satisfactory to good values of reliability and highlighted the impact of relationship quality on older adults' quality of life and carers' health status. This research contributes to the introduction of the QCPR scale in Portuguese clinical and scientific culture and promotes its international use.
