Factors associated with stress of conscience in caring for older people with delirium in a hospital setting: An exploratory cross-sectional study

Yangama Jokwiro et al.

Summary: This study aimed to explore factors associated with stress of conscience among nurses caring for older people with delirium in a hospital setting. Findings revealed that younger age, more years of nursing experience, and lower levels of perceived person centeredness were associated with higher levels of stress of conscience. Additionally, higher perceived levels of person centeredness could mitigate nurses' stress of conscience.
