In this paper, we propose a novel technique to measure fiber dispersion without the need for any derivative operation or index measurement. By utilizing the relationship between dispersion and the signal in optical computing optical coherence tomography, dispersion can be accurately deduced from the position and resolution of the optical computing OCT signal. The measured group velocity dispersion and third order dispersion of single mode fiber and dispersion compensating fiber with lengths ranging from 10 m to 10 km are found to be in good agreement with the nominal value.
