Wellbore Temperature and Pressure Field in Deep-water Drilling and the Applications in Prediction of Hydrate Formation Region

Wantong Sun et al.

Summary: A new prediction method for temperature, pressure, and hydrate formation region in wellbores is developed and validated in this study. The sensitivity effects of nine factors on these parameters were analyzed. The results show that certain factors inhibit hydrate formation in wellbores, while others promote it.
