Hybrid Frequency-Selective Rasorber With Low-Frequency Diffusion and High-Frequency Absorption

Lin Zhou et al.

Summary: A novel frequency-selective rasorber (FSR) is proposed in this article, which combines low-frequency diffusion and high-frequency absorption to provide a high-efficiency transmission band and a broadband radar cross section (RCS) reduction. The FSR consists of three layers, with each layer designed for specific functions to achieve the desired performance. The simulation and measurement results show that the FSR sample exhibits significant monostatic RCS reduction over a wide frequency range, outperforming a metallic plane of the same size.

High-performance ultra-broadband absorption-diffusion integrated metasurface

Yuzhou Ran et al.

Summary: The proposed absorption-diffusion integrated metasurface achieves high-performance stealth of electromagnetic waves with high angular stability in an ultrabroad frequency band. By optimizing the arrangement of meta-atoms, the metasurface achieves polarization-independent radar cross section (RCS) reduction values over -10 dB and up to -30 dB in specific frequency ranges. The effectiveness of the metasurface is demonstrated through experiment and simulation results, showing better RCS reduction performance compared to other published literature.

Wideband and wide-angle radar cross section reduction using a hybrid mechanism metasurface

Yan Xi et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a hybrid mechanism metasurface (HMM) for wideband and wide-angle radar cross section (RCS) reduction. By integrating absorption, polarization conversion, and phase cancellation mechanisms in the same structure, the HMM achieves over 10 dB scattering suppression. The incorporation of multiple mechanisms in the HMM shows potential applications in multifunctional metasurfaces.
