Hypoxic Exercise Training Elevates Erythrocyte Aggregation

Chin-Li Lin et al.

Summary: The study elucidates the effects of hypoxic exercise training on intrinsic/extrinsic factors of erythrocyte aggregation, revealing that hypoxic training increases global aggregation of erythrocytes, while normoxic training is mainly associated with improved fibrinogen-erythrocyte interactions. In addition, hypoxic training promotes erythrocyte senescence.
