Low-dose CT perfusion with combined use of CTP and CTP-derived coronary CT angiography at 70 kVp: validation with invasive fractional flow reserve

Yan Yi et al.

Summary: The study aimed to investigate the diagnostic performance of 70-kVp stress dynamic myocardial CT perfusion as a low-dose, one-stop cardiac CT examination in clinical application. The results showed that CTP-derived SP-CTA significantly improved the diagnostic accuracy compared to CTP and SP-CTA alone, with high sensitivity and specificity for identifying ischemia.

Dynamic CT Myocardial Perfusion Imaging in Patients without Obstructive Coronary Artery Disease: Quantification of Myocardia Blood Flow according to Varied Heart Rate Increments after Stress

Lihua Yu et al.

Summary: This study investigated the association between myocardial blood flow (MBF) quantified by dynamic CT myocardial perfusion imaging (CT-MPI) and the increments in heart rate (HR) after stress in patients without obstructive coronary artery disease. The results showed that the global MBF value was associated with the extent of increase in HR after stress, with significantly higher global MBF seen in subjects with HR increment of >= 20 bpm.
