Numerical modeling on hybrid nanofluid (Fe3O4+MWCNT/H2O) migration considering MHD effect over a porous cylinder

Summary: The study investigates the magnetized non-Darcy flow of free convective hybrid nanofluid over a porous cylinder, numerically solved using the control volume finite element method. The results show that increasing medium porosity enhances thermal energy flow, while raising the magnetic field drastically increases the temperature of the inner wall.

Heat transfer intensification of nanomaterial with involve of swirl flow device concerning entropy generation

Zahir Shah et al.

Summary: The study numerically simulated the thermal characteristics of hybrid nano-powder turbulent motion in a pipe with a helical turbulator, investigating how changing the pitch ratio and Reynolds number affects the thermal energy transfer of the hybrid nanofluid. The results showed that increasing Reynolds number decreased fluid temperature but increased velocity, with an increase in frictional irreversibility and a decrease in thermal irreversibility. Additionally, decreasing pitch ratio enhanced fluid mixing and velocity.

Simulation of entropy optimization and thermal behavior of nanofluid through the porous media

Zahir Shah et al.

Summary: The hydrothermal behavior of hybrid nanomaterial migration from a perforated and wavy container is analyzed, taking into account the impacts of buoyancy, Lorentz forces, and medium porosity on fluid motion. The study shows that increasing buoyancy and medium porosity enhance convective flow, while increasing Lorentz forces decreases convective flow strength and raises fluid temperature. The results also demonstrate the dependence of entropy generation on various parameters and derive analytical relations for average Nusselt and Bejan numbers.
