Impact of a rotating cone on forced convection of Ag-MgO/water hybrid nanofluid in a 3D multiple vented T-shaped cavity considering magnetic field effects

Fatih Selimefendigil et al.

Summary: Forced convection of hybrid Ag-MgO/water nanofluid in a three-dimensional T-shaped vented cavity with multiple ports under the effects of a inner rotating cone and magnetic field was numerically studied. Various parameters such as Reynolds number, Hartmann number, angular velocity of the rotating cone, aspect ratio of the cone, and nanoparticle solid volume fraction were simulated, showing that higher values of these parameters lead to an increase in average heat transfer rate.

Flow and heat transfer of hybrid nanofluid induced by an exponentially stretching/shrinking curved surface

Nur Syahirah Wahid et al.

Summary: This study investigates the flow and heat transfer of hybrid nanofluid induced by an exponentially permeable stretching/shrinking curved surface. It is found that the boundary layer separation is deferred as copper volume fraction and curvature parameters increase, and the presence of hybrid nanofluid enhances velocity and temperature profiles.

Agrawal flow of a hybrid nanofluid over a shrinking disk

Iskandar Waini et al.

Summary: The study investigates the impact of hybrid nanoparticles on flow and heat transfer over a stretching/shrinking disk. It reveals that dual solutions are possible for both shrinking and stretching cases, while a unique solution exists for the static surface. Moreover, the skin friction coefficient is optimal on the static surface, and heat transfer rate increases with the addition of hybrid nanoparticles.
