Summary: The study found that tryptophan metabolism plays an important role in the occurrence and development of hepatocellular carcinoma cells, and the tryptophan side-chain oxidase (TSO) enzyme has an inhibitory effect on hepatocellular carcinoma cells. TSO can degrade tryptophan and inhibit the proliferation and migration of HCCLM3 and HepG2 cells, promoting apoptosis for hepatocellular carcinoma treatment.
