Targeting these receptors, as well as other receptors such as Toll-like receptors (TLRs), CLR, Ezrin, and dipeptidyl peptidase-4, could provide therapeutic targets against COVID-19 by enhancing anti-viral immunity and viral clearance.

Comparison of the characteristics, morbidity, and mortality of COVID-19 and seasonal influenza: a nationwide, population-based retrospective cohort study
