Summary: This study reported autopsy evidence of fatal thrombotic pulmonary arterial lesions in an asymptomatic COVID-19 patient after swab negativization, indicating that even asymptomatic patients may develop severe complications. Screening for thrombotic complications and early treatment with antithrombotic drugs should be considered important, even in asymptomatic individuals.

Pulmonary fibrosis secondary to COVID-19: a narrative review
