Cathepsin B-responsive and gadolinium-labeled branched glycopolymer-PTX conjugate-derived nanotheranostics for cancer treatment

Summary: Multi-modal therapeutics using polymeric carriers for simultaneous diagnosis and treatment of cancer have been developed. A theranostic nanomedicine, branched glycopolymer-PTX-DOTA-Gd, showed extended circulation time, enhanced tumor accumulation, and excellent biocompatibility with reduced gadolinium ion retention. This branched polymeric prodrug-based nanomedicine has great potential for safe and effective cancer diagnosis and treatment, achieving enhanced imaging contrast and high antitumor efficacy.

CS coating promoted osteoblast adhesion, and the release of OA-HA stimulated osteogenic proliferation.

The construction of a lymphoma cell-based, DC-targeted vaccine, and its application in lymphoma prevention and cure

Summary: The study developed a novel tumor vaccine named Man-EG7/CH@CpG using a biomaterial-based strategy, which showed enhanced anti-tumor effects in lymphoma prevention and treatment models. A combination therapy incorporating a chemotherapeutic drug (doxorubicin) into the vaccination process achieved a tumor inhibition rate of approximately 85%, surpassing the efficacy of mono-chemotherapy or mono-immunotherapy. This strategy may offer a new direction for tumor vaccine development and prioritization of immuno-chemotherapy for Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
