Effects of Algorithmic Music on the Cardiovascular Neural Control

Summary: This study investigates the effects of listening to algorithmic music on cardiovascular regulation in healthy subjects. The results show that algorithmic music did not significantly impact the spectral indicators of heart rate and systolic arterial pressure, but it did help reduce heart rate.

Algorithmic Music for Therapy: Effectiveness and Perspectives

Summary: This study found that music created by algorithms has a comparable effect on relaxation levels to human-composed music. Statistical analysis shows that relaxation levels are minimally affected by the composer, performer, or musical training, but perceived effects are related to the performer. Additionally, music composed by an algorithm and performed by a human is not distinguishable from music composed by a human.
