Household water purification system comprising cartridge filtration, UVC disinfection and chlorination to treat turbid raw water

Paulo Marcos Faria Maciel et al.

Summary: A system consisting of cartridge membrane filters with different opening sizes, UVC-lamp, and chlorinator was constructed and tested for treating high-turbidity water. The system was able to significantly reduce turbidity and disinfect water effectively when treating 180 L of river water per day.
