Systematic review and meta-analysis: relationships between attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and urinary symptoms in children

Behrang Mahjani et al.

Summary: There is a significant association between ADHD and LUTS in children, with the severity of ADHD positively correlated with the severity of LUTS. Younger children tend to have higher LUTS scores, and different subtypes of urinary incontinence show variations in behavioral problems and psychiatric comorbidity. Sex differences in LUTS are inconsistent across studies.
