Computational formulation and immune dynamics of a multi-peptide vaccine candidate against Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus

Md. Shakil Ahmed Khan et al.

Summary: This research aims to develop an epitope-based vaccine candidate for prophylaxis against the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus (CCHFV) using immunoinformatics and structural biology. The vaccine was designed with potent B-cell and T-cell epitopes, along with an adjuvant, and showed strong interaction with toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) on cell surface. The chimeric vaccine demonstrated enhanced cellular immune activity and efficient translation efficiency in E. coli strain K12 bacterium.

Roles of the Endogenous Lunapark Protein during Flavivirus Replication

Pham-Tue-Hung Tran et al.

Summary: The study characterized the functions of LNP during flavivirus infection, showing that LNP plays a crucial role in vesicle generation and interacts with the NS4B protein. Depletion of LNP resulted in reduced virus replication, shedding new light on the interactions between flaviviruses and host factors.
