Diagnosing vestibular hypofunction: an update

Summary: Unilateral or bilateral vestibular hypofunction commonly presents with symptoms of dizziness or postural imbalance, affecting a large population. Lack of quantitative testing and standardization in vestibular testing often leads to missed diagnoses. This article reviews current vestibular tests and aims to establish a consensus on systematic diagnosis of vestibular hypofunction.
