Summary: This study proposed four external circulation design schemes for the energy conversion of LNG regasification and nitrogen cooling, achieving cascade energy utilization and reducing energy consumption per unit liquid product. With the increase of LNG pressure, the exergy loss of each scheme decreases, and the system with high-pressure LNG and low-pressure circulating nitrogen has the best exergy efficiency and LNG cold energy utilization rate.
