Screening and Validation of the Hypoxia-Related Signature of Evaluating Tumor Immune Microenvironment and Predicting Prognosis in Gastric Cancer

Jun-Peng Pei et al.

Summary: The study developed a hypoxia risk score model based on SERPINE1 and EFNA3, which showed a close relationship with tumor immune microenvironment and poor prognosis in gastric cancer patients. The high-risk score was associated with immunosuppressive microenvironment and immune escape mechanisms, indicating a poor prognosis.

Long non-coding RNA TTN antisense RNA 1 facilitates hepatocellular carcinoma progression via regulating miR-139-5p/SPOCK1 axis

Xinghao Zhu et al.

Summary: In this study, it was found that the expression levels of TTN-AS1 and SPOCK1 were significantly increased in HCC, while the expression level of miR-139-5p was markedly reduced. Functional experiments demonstrated that TTN-AS1 can promote the proliferation, migration, invasion, and EMT of HCC cells by regulating the miR-139-5p/SPOCK1 axis.
