Extending the source-sink potential method to include electron-nucleus coupling

Alexandre Giguere et al.

Summary: This study extends the source-sink potential method to incorporate decoherent, inelastic electron transport by including non-adiabatic coupling between electrons and nuclei. The proposed approach modifies the qualitative structure-conductance relationships previously unraveled with SSP, providing a simple analysis and analytical formulas for physical parameters. The method described qualitatively describes experimentally observed phenomena and is published under an exclusive license by AIP Publishing.
