RE-KGR: Relation-Enhanced Knowledge Graph Reasoning for Recommendation

Ming He et al.

Summary: Knowledge graph is widely used to improve recommendation performance, and this paper introduces a novel recommendation framework called RE-KGR, which combines recommendation and explainability by reasoning user-item interaction paths. Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art baselines on three real-world datasets in terms of performance and explainability.

Learning Intents behind Interactions with Knowledge Graph for Recommendation

Xiang Wang et al.

Summary: This study introduces a new model, Knowledge Graph-based Intent Network (KGIN), that explores user-item interaction intents using auxiliary item knowledge. By modeling each intent as an attentive combination of KG relations and devising a new information aggregation scheme for GNN, useful information about user intents is distilled and encoded into representations of users and items. KGIN outperforms state-of-the-art methods like KGAT, KGNN-LS, and CKAN, offering interpretable explanations for predictions.

X-2ch: Quad-Channel Collaborative Graph Network over Knowledge-Embedded Edges

Kachun Lo et al.

Summary: Knowledge graph and graph neural networks have shown potential in recommendation systems, but most models suffer from performance issues due to lack of distinction, signal confusion, and neglect of edges. To address these problems, this paper introduces a quad-channel graph model, which achieves significant improvements in experiments over state-of-the-art benchmarks.
