The effect of cell size on the kinetics of yeast disintegration in a bead mill

Marek Solecki et al.

Summary: Modelling the effect of cell sizes on the microorganism disintegration process showed that there was a significant increase in the constant rate of the process with an increase in the range of the cell size class. The spherical model of the cell provided more beneficial values of the coefficient of determination compared to the ellipsoidal model.
