A Distributed Strategy to Attitude Following of the Multi-DOF Parallel Electrical Manipulator Systems

Hui Peng et al.

Summary: This article proposes a coordinated attitude control strategy for parallel electrical manipulators, which combines the distributed active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) framework with a consensus algorithm. The strategy solves the uncoordinated problem of electric actuators, compensates for disturbances, and achieves stable tracking performance.

Design and experiment of a three-feet linear ultrasonic motor using third bending hybrid modes

He Li et al.

Summary: In this study, a linear ultrasonic motor with two piezoelectric stators using a combination of two bending vibration modes was proposed to simplify frequency degeneration and improve output performance. The structural configuration of the stator was optimized using the finite element method to ensure uniformity in vibration amplitudes. The prototype demonstrated advantages of simplified frequency degeneration in structure design and low exciting voltage in the tested mechanical characteristics.

Analytical Investigation on Torque of Three-Degree-of-Freedom Electromagnetic Actuator for Image Stabilization

Chien-Sheng Liu et al.

Summary: This study focuses on designing a 3-DOF spherical motor for camera modules used in humanoid and autonomous systems. By improving the electromagnetic structure and control strategy, the study aims to enhance the static torque of the motor in the X- and Y-axes, resulting in higher torque output in large rotation angles. The use of eight symmetrical coils with specific combinations, instead of traditional four symmetrical coils, plays a key role in achieving this goal.
