Summary: LFPI reduced motion and intradiscal pressure at the transition segment under static loading, but induced higher motion and pressure at the adjacent segment. After surgery, vibration amplitudes of the L3-4 intradiscal pressure and L4-5 facet joint force decreased significantly. The DIAM system showed the most comparable biomechanics to the intact model and reduced dynamic responses under WBV.
