Highly Sensitive Colorimetric Assay of Cortisol Using Cortisol Antibody and Aptamer Sandwich Assay

Summary: This study demonstrates the sensitive detection of cortisol using the sandwich assay of cortisol monoclonal antibody and cortisol specific binding aptamer, with a very low detection limit. The use of gold nanoparticles stacking enables highly sensitive colorimetric detection of cortisol on an optically transparent substrate.
