Recovery of magnesium from ferronickel slag to prepare hydrated magnesium sulfate by hydrometallurgy method

Feng Gao et al.

Summary: This paper presents an economical and efficient technical method for recovering magnesium from ferronickel slag to produce hydrated magnesium sulfate. Through leaching and crystallization reactions, a magnesium product is obtained. Factors such as temperature, solvent, and reaction mechanisms affect the efficiency of the method, which shows promising results for the preparation of magnesium salt products.
