Influence of Meteorological Factors on the COVID-19 Transmission with Season and Geographic Location

Results showed that temperature and relative humidity were the main driving factors, but their effects varied across seasons and geographical locations.

Summary: This study analyzed the influences of climate, socio-economic determinants, and spatial distance on the confirmed cases and deaths of COVID-19 in China. Results showed that the impact of city types on cases and deaths differed between Hubei and other provinces. Socio-economic factors, especially GDP, had a larger impact on the transmission of COVID-19 compared to other factors.

The results show significant disparities in urban public transport accessibility to medical services in residential areas of Xi'an, with private hospitals performing better in maintaining higher levels of accessibility and equity in public transport accessibility.
