Improved operational lifetime of deep-red phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes using a benzothienobenzothiophene (BTBT)-based p-type host material

Daiki Saito et al.

Summary: The study demonstrates a highly efficient and stable deep-red OLED based on a novel exciplex host system, achieving the best performance parameters reported so far. Additionally, the impact of p-type exciplex host material on device performance is investigated, showing that a device based on BTBT offers higher efficiency and longer stability than traditional NPD-based devices.
