A reliable electrochemical approach for detection of testosterone with CuO-doped CeO2 nanocomposites-coated glassy carbon electrode

Summary: The study developed a reliable sensor for detecting testosterone by depositing CuO/CeO2 nanocomposites onto a glassy carbon electrode. The calibration of the sensor showed a linear dynamic range (LDR) from 0.1 to 0.01 nM, with a lower limit for detecting testosterone at 9.30 +/- 0.47 pM.

Simultaneous Removal of Al, Cu and Zn Ions from Aqueous Solutions Using Ion and Precipitate Flotation Methods

Summary: This study investigated the simultaneous removal of Al(III), Cu(II), and Zn(II) from dilute aqueous solutions using ion and precipitate flotation methods. Results showed that satisfactory simultaneous flotations were achieved when the pH value was between 7.0 and 9.0. Increase in collector concentration led to a decrease in flotation rate constants, while an increase in gas velocity resulted in higher ion and precipitate flotation rates.
