From PM2.5 exposure to PM2.5 risks of inhaled dose in daily activities: Empirical evidence during workdays from guangzhou, China

Jie Song et al.

Summary: This study combined residents' activity diaries and spatial-temporal air pollution data to assess individual inhaled PM2.5 doses, finding that different activities at different times and spaces impact the amount inhaled. Daily inhaled doses are higher during the day and closely related to daily activities, requiring targeted policies and suggestions to reduce health risks caused by PM2.5 pollution.

A review on ambient and indoor air pollution status in Africa

Kevin Emeka Agbo et al.

Summary: This article points out that most African countries lack air quality monitoring stations and data, leading to challenges in air pollution management. Vehicular traffic, industries, and natural disasters are major sources of air pollution in Africa, with pollutant concentrations exhibiting seasonal variations and commonly exceeding WHO standards.

A Network-Based Approach for Reducing Pedestrian Exposure to PM2.5 Induced by Road Traffic in Seoul

Sungsoo Yoon et al.

Summary: The study found that traffic significantly contributes to PM2.5 exposure and concentrations, and local walkways play an important role in regional connectivity. Four types of pedestrian networks were proposed to provide useful information for urban planning.
