Concentration-dependent oscillation of specific loss power in magnetic nanofluid hyperthermia

Ji-wook Kim et al.

Summary: The concentration-dependent oscillation behavior of the SLP of SPNP MNFH agent was first reported in this study. The energy competition among the magnetic dipole interaction energy, magnetic potential energy, and exchange energy was identified as the main physical reason for the oscillation behavior. This empirically demonstrated new finding and physically established model are expected to provide crucial information for determining the critical dose of an agent for effective MNFH in cancer clinics.

Evaluation of effective magnetic anisotropy constant of magnetic nanoparticles from coercive field of AC magnetization curve

Keiji Enpuku et al.

Summary: Researchers studied the magnetic anisotropy constant K of magnetic nanoparticles by numerical simulation and experimental measurement of AC M-H curves, determining the relationship between K and coercive field H-c under different excitation conditions. By evaluating K values, they developed a useful method for estimating the K value of MNPs.
