Electrochemical sensor based on covalent organic frameworks-MWCNT-NH2/AuNPs for simultaneous detection of dopamine and uric acid

Qixia Guan et al.

Summary: An electrochemical sensing platform for simultaneous determination of dopamine and uric acid has been developed using covalent organic framework materials, aminofunctionalized carbon nanotubes, and gold nanoparticles. The sensor shows sensitive response and good linearity to both dopamine and uric acid, with wide linear ranges and low detection limits. It has been successfully applied in the analysis of dopamine injection and human urine samples, showing satisfactory recovery rate and low relative standard deviations. Overall, the constructed sensor platform offers superior performance compared to traditional methods, with advantages of low cost, simple structure, wide linear range, and high sensitivity.

Simultaneous Recognition of Dopamine and Uric Acid in the Presence of Ascorbic Acid via an Intercalated MXene/PPy Nanocomposite

Qiannan You et al.

Summary: A Ti3C2Tx/polypyrrole nanocomposite was synthesized and immobilized onto a glassy carbon electrode for the simultaneous determination of dopamine and uric acid in the presence of interference from ascorbic acid. The controllable preparation strategy and compounding of PPy material are challenges for practical application. A chemical oxidation method was proposed to regulate the formation of PPy nanowires, enhancing the conductivity and electrochemical active sites of the nanomaterial.
