Facilitation of oral sensitivity by electrical stimulation of the faucial pillars

Summary: This study investigated the effects of electrical stimulation and taste and smell information on the sensitivity threshold of the anterior faucial pillar in stroke patients with dysphagia. The results showed that electrical stimulation significantly reduced the sensitivity threshold at 5 minutes and 30 minutes after baseline.
