Effect of nanoparticle shape on unsteady liquid film flow of MHD Oldroyd-B ferrofluid

Iskander Tlili et al.

Summary: A computational framework was used to study the drive and thermal transport of unstable MHD Oldroyd-B ferrofluid flow with CoFe2O4 nanoparticles in water. Results showed that spherical ferrous particles have higher energy transport efficiency compared to tube and laminar shaped particles, and the Nusselt number can be regulated by the Deborah number and unsteadiness parameter.

Design of intelligent computing networks for numerical treatment of thin film flow of Maxwell nanofluid over a stretched and rotating surface

Iftikhar Uddin et al.

Summary: A novel application of backpropagated Levenberg-Marquardt neural networks was used to interpret the analysis of Maxwell nanofluid thin film flow over a stretchable and rotating disk. The study captured thermophoretic and Brownian motion features of the nanofluid and found that radial and azimuthal velocities are decaying functions of the Deborah number, while nanofluid temperature increases with higher radiation and thermophoresis parameters.

Insight into kerosene conveying CNTs and Fe3O4 nanoparticles through a porous medium: significance of Coriolis force and entropy generation

Ikram Ullah et al.

Summary: The study shows that using a mixture of hybrid nanoparticles and kerosene oil can improve heat transfer efficiency in fluids, and information and entropy analysis demonstrates this irreversibility. By calculating various parameters under different distributions, we found that hybrid nanofluids are sensitive to temperature increase and heat source parameters, with higher heat transfer efficiency than common nanoliquids.

Entropy Optimization in Nonlinear Mixed Convective Flow of Nanomaterials Through Porous Space

Tasawar Hayat et al.

Summary: This study investigates entropy optimization in nonlinear mixed convective unsteady magnetohydrodynamic flow of nanomaterials in porous space. The effects of various variables on entropy, temperature, velocity, and concentration are visually analyzed, with comparative analysis to validate previous outcomes. Velocity decreases significantly with the suction parameter, while entropy rate increases for higher values of Brinkman, Biot, and Hartmann numbers.
