Synthesized and characterizations nanoparticles of chalcopyrite alloy CuIn1-xFexSe2

K. Benameur et al.

Summary: Nanoparticle powders of CuIn1-xFexSe2 alloys with varying Fe content have been synthesized using the solvothermal method. The structural and optical properties of the nanoparticles are strongly influenced by the Fe content, as observed through X-ray diffraction and optical studies.

Construction of a hierarchical NiFe2O4/CuInSe2 (p-n) heterojunction: Highly efficient visible-light-driven photocatalyst in the degradation of endocrine disruptors in an aqueous medium

Zhenzhen Jiang et al.

Summary: This study successfully synthesized CuInSe2/NiFe2O4 nanocomposites using a solid-state preparation method and found that they showed excellent degradation of endocrine disruptors under visible light. The hydroxyl radicals and holes in CuInSe2/NiFe2O4 nanocomposites played a crucial role in the removal of pollutants.

Poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) matrix and SiO2, Al2O3, SnO2, ZnO, and TiO2 nanofillers comprise biodegradable nanocomposites of controllable optical properties for optoelectronic applications

Priyanka Dhatarwal et al.

Summary: This study investigates the optical properties of polymer nanocomposite films, finding that the optical parameters of PNCs containing SiO2 and Al2O3 nanoparticles can be controlled within a narrow range by adjusting filler concentration, while the band gaps of PNC films loaded with SnO2, ZnO, and TiO2 nanoparticles can be tuned over a wide range. These biodegradable PNCs demonstrate potential for applications in band gap regulation, UV shielding, light diffusion, photo-sensing, and optoelectronic devices.
