Applying the Transtheoretical Model to Stuttering Management Among Adolescents: Part II. Exploratory Scale Validation

Naomi H. Rodgers et al.

Summary: This study conducted an online survey of 173 adolescents who stutter and identified five discrete stages of stuttering management along with related factors, suggesting that the Transtheoretical Model is applicable to stuttering management behaviors among adolescents. The findings hold significance for further validating a stage-based framework for change among individuals who stutter.
