Summary: This study investigated the wound healing properties of Teucrium polium L. and its safety profile in animal models. Results showed significant wound contraction effects and absence of toxicity signs on the skin and internal organs. Analysis revealed a composition rich in phenolic compounds, supporting the traditional use of T. polium as a wound healing agent in Algerian medicine.
