Resilience of children in disasters: A multisystem perspective

Summary: Interest in resilience is growing as threats from disasters and a global pandemic increase. It is important to define resilience for portability across system levels and disciplines, highlighting the determinants of adaptation among young people in disasters and the interconnected systems that influence their resilience. The implications of a multisystem perspective for disaster risk reduction and preparedness, focusing on nurturing the resilience of children and their societies for challenges in the future, are discussed.

Fulani herders and indigenous strategies of climate change adaptation in Kpongu community, North-Western Ghana: implications for adaptation planning
