Current practice and perceptions of safety protocols for the use of intraperitoneal chemotherapy in the operating room: results of the IP-OR international survey

Daniel Clerc et al.

Summary: The study revealed that uptake of protection measures was similar among different professions during HIPEC and PIPAC procedures, but there were differences in perceived levels of protection and contamination risk. Information level was lower for CleanS and Anesth compared to other responders. Willingness to obtain more information was high, suggesting a need for intensified training for all OR team members.
