EUREKA algorithm predicts obstetric risk and response to treatment in women with different subsets of anti-phospholipid antibodies

Francesca Pregnolato et al.

Summary: This study investigates the impact of aPL positivity at different titres on pregnancy morbidity, finding that low-titre aPL and aPL fulfilling classification criteria significantly impact the risk of PM. The combination of LDASA and LMWH can significantly reduce the probability of PM in all women with low-titre aPL and criteria aPL.

Prevention of recurrent miscarriage in women with antiphospholipid syndrome: A systematic review and network meta-analysis

Ziyi Yang et al.

Summary: After analyzing 54 randomized controlled trials, it was found that a combination of low-dose aspirin and heparin is recommended as the first-line treatment for preventing recurrent miscarriage in women with APS. Additionally, the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine, IVIG, and prednisone when added to current treatment regimens was supported. Further large-scale, high-quality RCTs are needed to confirm these findings and evaluate new pharmacological options.
