Trace gas sensing based on single-quartz-enhanced photoacoustic-photothermal dual spectroscopy

Shunda Qiao et al.

Summary: A novel single-quartz-enhanced dual spectroscopy trace gas sensor was developed, utilizing a quartz tuning fork to detect photoacoustic and photothermal signals simultaneously, improving detection performance and avoiding frequency mismatching issues in multi-sensor systems. The experimental results confirmed the successful addition of the signals in this sensor system.

Quartz tuning fork-based demodulation of an acoustic signal induced by photo-thermo-elastic energy conversion

Ziting Lang et al.

Summary: A gas sensing method based on QEPTS demodulated by QTF sensing acoustic wave is proposed in this study, which can avoid laser irradiation on QTF and achieve better detection sensitivity. The experimental results show that the method has an enhanced SNR compared to traditional QEPTS.
